PREPARING YOUTH WITH SKILLS FOR LIFE

Equine Assisted Learning has provided hope and healing to youth in a variety of challenging circumstances. In the duration of each 8 - 12 week sessions, we will complete a total of 8 - 12 EAL BuildingBlock™ skills development programs which focus on different objectives that will develop our youth's life skills. Our programs are offered for age groups 8 - 13, and 14 - 18. Participants are presented with a certificate upon completion of the program.

Our programs are designed to develop leadership and life skills for a variety of needs and applications, and to bring out the best in each individual. Teams will work to:

  • Develop relationships

  • Accept responsibility and accountability

  • Overcome barriers to find change

  • Be encouraged to be creative and innovative

  • Find opportunity in working together

  • Realize the benefits associated with effective communication

  • Recognize the value of mutual trust, respect, and personal integrity... All while having a blast!

Equine Assisted Learning acts as an important educational tool to help to develop empathy and kindness as well as combat:

  • Behavioural issues and disorders

  • Low self esteem

  • Eating disorders

  • Bullying

  • Substance abuse

  • Emotional issues including depression

  • Poor communication skills

  • Inability to work in a team setting
