Youth Barrel Racing Clinic With Mikaela Sattler

2-day Barrel Racing Clinic for Youth 6 years old and up.  

The clinic with Mikaela will have a main focus on horsemanship and getting the rider and horse working as a team. She will break the pattern down into components using her favourite drills and get both the rider and horse to master each section and put it all together on the Sunday with a fun jackpot to end the two days!

Stalls Available - $20/night   -  or bring your own/tie to trailer for free

Arena and Round Pen open for use before and after clinic hours

Mikaela has always been apart of a horse family, and has spent her whole life riding horses. For the past few years she has been teaching lessons/clinics and training horses.

Mikaela got the passion for teaching lessons and clinics by spending all of her child and teen hood going to a variety of clinics from colt starting to a barrel racing clinic with multi-NFR qualifier Sherry Lynn Johnson, watching videos online, and getting as much experience as she can.

Mikaela has attended many different jackpots and rodeos province wide through out her life and has been very successful. She has won many prizes, buckles, and cheques and is a multi champion and multi finals qualifier. She made it to Canadian finals in Nanton Alberta in barrel racing, pole bending and goat tying and the following year after she made junior world nationals down south in barrel racing, pole bending, and breakaway roping. She also made the Manitoba cinch team in the same year. She trained her first barrel horse in the year of 2018 and the following year won a summer long jackpot series on her mare and won a championship buckle and qualified for HRA finals. The horse is now a proven multi 1D winner and rodeo finalist horse in both youth and open(ladies).
